Moving from Listia

Please see the new "Trading Post" discussion Mike set up (thanks Mike)!

... I found an app called Mercari and set up a listing on it.
But I took that listing down. They don't take paypal and I won't give any oddball outfit my credit card number.

TraderKat may have similar issues.
If a housewife with four kids is trying to run an auction web site by herself, no WAY can she handle the administration/disputes/management as it grows.

I don't plan to use TraderKat or continue selling online (except to get rid of my stuff on Etsy if I can).

HACE group seems to be the umbrella of MANY MANY different registered entities.
The owner of TraderKat has her fingers in a LOT of pies ... I have NO idea what this means ... do we have anyone here with knowledge of business set-ups like this?

I tried to join swapcaps, but the bad news is they wouldn't
let me reg, and the good news is they wouldn't let me reg.
I use a disposable email, and many sites that will accept a
a disposable aren't really on the ball, bona fide type sites.
For example traderkat allows my disposable but swapcaps did not.
That means that swapcaps is monitoring disposables, and therefore
one can assume that they're at least more adept at the tech than
ones who allow disposables. I use it for all surveys. The spam
just goes to that stupid disposable, who cares, not me. Plus it
is just one more layer they have to peel before they get my IP,
if they're so inclined. When I joined Listia I didn't have a
disposable then, I don't think. And I doubt then that they'd have
accepted it if I had submitted one.

Another thing about traderkat is this "HARDY" name that seems to
iterate into thousands of "HARDY's", a seller on traderkat is named
KHARDY911, which I thought was more than just coincidence.

Now as for swapcaps and it's legitimacy, I cannot do the kind of
research that our natahoa can do, so babe, it's up to you.

Moving from Listia, trying a site very similar to old credit based Listia, its called Traderkat.com.  There is also a cash site called Bonaza, I have not tried it yet.

If anyone knows of othersites post here, we're all looking for a new home.

Etsy, Wish, Amazon, and ebay are all to huge.

So, to ME, this looks like an extended family business that has incorporated MANY different entities, probably for tax purposes.
This includes construction, tree services, and "anesthesia services" for alligators ~ maybe putting down nuisance alligators?

Managing a homeowner's association (possibly built a development)
Printing
natural therapy
real-estate investments
agriculture (farming?)
software solutions (probably the TraderKat link)

I'm not saying this is anything NEGATIVE ... just very fascinating to have SO many separate entities under the HACE group umbrella.
