Firstly, I want to thank you and natahoa for taking the time on your listings to explain the Ink Protocol to us Listians with limited understanding of Cryptocurrencies. Secondly, since joining Listia, I have made many new friends and collectors through my listings, selling and purchases. Like many fellow Listians, the transition to Ink has been a major factor in many leaving. I, for one had seriously thought about it. But these posts have given more insight to understanding this change than any info from the links or administrators. Now with the addition of the Listiaink board, I will be like a sponge soaking up all info provided. I will help in steering fellow Listians to come read these threads and try to change their mind about leaving this awesome community.
Again, thank you for what you are doing.
A born again Listian, Charlie

Love it. Born again. 😇😇😇 I've been on Listia for more than eight years. The social vibe is definitely listia's biggest asset. But I also have become increasingly frustrated with it. So one moment I'm DONE and the next I'm "born again" also.
I had hoped the Ink conversion would encourage listia's owners to be more responsive to the Listia community. That hasn't happened and although it has only been two weeks I'm not sure it will.
Listia needs a "team" dedicated to managing their online auction house. The current owners have good intentions. But they are spread way too thin. They now MUST focus on developing ink so I'm worried Listia will become even more of a red-headed stepchild.
They mean well. That I believe. But the road to hell is paved with good intentions. An online auction is an extremely complex business. It isn't a hobby for either the owners or their users. I hope they take it more seriously now that ink is at stake.

Here is an update a seller has posted to his auctions:
"Listia has dropped the price for ink no longer .14 cents. The value of ink on here is around 5 cents. So multiply the amount of ink you have by .05 to get the amount of money your ink is currently worth on here!! I'm not liking this changes at all, already lost a lot of money cause of. I'm probably going to be done with Listia sooner or later."
This seller is not the only one to post a similar message.
What I'd like to know is this:
Our credits were converted by Listia 2 weeks ago at a .14 rate. IF Listia has now changed the rate to .05, aren't we all entitled to a corrected amount of XNK? Or will it be chalked up to the name of the game with cryptocurrencies. I think we're owed a lot of XNK because it never was worth .14.
And what about those who have waited until now to convert credits to XNK? Will they be getting the newer rate?
Correct me if I'm wrong in my line of thinking.

From what Listia has stated, people who have not converted their credits yet will always get the standard 1 XNK for every 3850 credits just like everyone else who converted. That is locked in. What XNK is actually worth will vary. Basically Listia pulled the 14 cent value from thin air. Essentially saying 3850 credits at that current point in time were worth 14 cents. From looking at amazon gift card listings prior to the conversion and before Listia temporarily flooded the market with amazon gift cards, $1 amazon cards were going for about 120,000 credits, give or take 20,000 credits. 3850/120000 gave me an estimate of what 3850 credits were worth $0.03208 etc. So about 3.2 cents. Does 3.2 cents sound remotely close to 14 cents? I didn't think so but the whole conversion with 3850=1=14 caused a lot of confusion and personally I got a headache trying to figure out what was worth what. xD Currently the market value and value on Listia seems to have evened out to 5 cents so I'm thinking we might be a bit more stable now.

It is dropping below .048 and prognosis does not look good. Expected to drop to .007 +/- with no possibility of rising.

Natahoa, thanks for headsup.
XNK, from what I see (probably mis-informed) must be exchanged for Etherum tokins. Then you can sell for cash. BUT, it seems each step has a fee, and cash deposits could take as long as 6wks to 6mths for banks to deposit.

I think you are right creationsbycris, and I think you have to have at least 660 XNK to exchange, I could be wrong, maybe we can get expert board member to add more info here!
