So, my guess is that people in Sarasota are very familiar with this family and all of the businesses they run or have run in the past. If you know anyone in Sarasota it might be worth shooting them a text or email.
Perhaps they are wonderful people with the highest of principals ...

@sasha You can either cash out your credits and send that money to paypal or move your Ink off Listia into an ether wallet. See posts in other threads for instructions on sending INK out of LIstia.
Listia also has links for that information but I'm not sure how helpful they are. You can also probably get a Listia owner to respond if you use the Ink Protocol chat on Telegram.

Do I have to buy credits on TraderKat?? You can..... But they will give some credits for Joining and Listing stuff... I would personally wait on the buying until Natahoa can Verify if the site is legit...

Wow Natahoa Thanks for all the research on that company! That's just CRAZY! I joined but haven't given any bank info or anything. I received 2500 free bids to start but didn't see anything to bid on yesterday.
I'm not going to do anything there or anywhere unless I know it's legit. I've had enough grief where I'm at already.
I see we can once again transfer our XNK out of Listia so I'm heading over to do it while I'm able to.
Remember I'd asked about setting a limit to how many gift cards any one person could buy from the Rewards Store since the same person nearly buys every single one. This is the reply from ListiaMichelle:
"Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We'll review the activity to see if there is anything that can be done. I have relayed this to the appropriate department."
I don't know about the "see if anything can be done" if you run the show.
Thanks everyone for the great info on this message board!
Natahoa, Good luck in anything you do (Or don't do!). It will be a nice change to take a breather from all this. You've been an immense help to me with XNK and all. But the real value has been your friendship. That is priceless to me. Much love!

I joined TraderKat and listed a an auction. I just sent the owner- or at least "customer service" a message. introducing myself, and I asked a few things. Kind of a 21-questions sort of thing. I need to know their intentions and ability for expansion, before putting too much time/effort into a whole new start-up. From what I can tell, looks like it started in 2015, but has not had much traffic. At all. I did purchase $5 worth of credits, before seeing Natahoa's warning. I feel silly now. The payment went thru PayPal, so I do feel almost-safe. I guess I am the guinea pig here.. now I wait and watch my bank account closely. I will let you guys know as soon as I get a response from "customer service". I found this little write-up (below) "about the team" at TraderKat.. however, quite a few other things.. ie; terms, announcements, etc. are entirely in Latin lol. Anyone know Latin??
Here is the write-up on TraderKat "about the team": "A team of people wanting to help others get what they need for trading stuff they don't want or need! (No Bosses here!) Trader Kat is named after our family cat TAZ. He has attitude but is so handsome you can not resist him. He loves attention but only on his terms. He is a rescue Maine Coon and weighs around 18-20 pounds. Trader Kat is a dream of one woman. To be able to help others get nice things and things they need or want without having money. We all have items we have been given that we don't wear or use or want, things that are cluttering up our lives. We all have talents and gifts. Maybe we have things we can make or draw or family recipes. You can post anything earn credits and use those credits to buy things you do need. We are hoping you will love the site. We hope to add fun to it for you. We welcome feedback and ideas. Thank you so very much for joining Trader Kat. "
SO many common themes on this site similar to Listia. Pretty much the same, but not all of the bells and whistles. And not wide-scale. Yet.
I think I saw one member who has been there since 2015. I will message her, as well.. try to get the scoop.

Glad to see suggestions being made for alternatives for Listia! I used swapcaps for awhile, but I don't recommend them as not many people use it, and I found a website called coinsen that is a carbon copy of swapcaps but for crypto currency, so I figured the owner of swapcaps was doing something shady. I could create a forum board for trading on here if you guys want? We could even use XNK but maybe give each other fair prices? Whatever that means at this point The whole point of XNK is to use it in other marketplaces afterall right? Let me know what you all think!

I do not know if traderKat is legit. I'm not saying that it is not. The cute kitty story doesn't impress me. And I love cats. Don't be gullible. Ask why her family has so many business entities. The info is publicly available. I didn't use any black magic to find it. Her answer should be interesting.
PayPal should be safe but I don't recommend that you link a credit card or bank account to anything except PayPal.
In my book if a web site doesn't take PayPal they don't get my business. I don't want anyone to have any personal financial info. I'm hoping that ink will provide some competition in that arena and if it does, those if who own it should be able to get out money out of it some point. This could take years tho. The crypto market is in free fall. Ink is a. Is a victim of that just like all the other crypto. Large and small.
TraderKat does concern me. It costs a fair amount of money to set up an LLC. About $150. Each. Not all of those businesses are LLCs but clearly they put a lot of effort setting up hundreds if not thousands of business entities.
My husband is a business guy and could not guess why someone would do that. It's expensive. An LLC protects you from being sued and losing stuff like your house. That's all I really know about it.

Nevermind.... Its got Problems too! Yes. It will be difficult to find anything that can compete with eBay. That is probably the safest place to trade. I’ve looked for alternatives to eBay for years and every site that has tried to complete hasn’t lasted very long. Running an auction business whether physical or online is very difficult. For sellers it is a personal decision to use it or not. Just like Listia.
